Introducing PhysicanFirst by Pri Med Physicians.

We know your time is valuable and PhysicanFirst is an exciting new way to speed up every doctor visit, by ensuring the doctor is the first staff member you'll see once you're in the exam room. This innovative program is designed to let the doctor see you promptly and get your illness or injury addressed right away. This new service is offered at our Taylor Crossing and Prattville locations. Look for the "PhysicanFirst Today" sign outside letting you know when the service is available.

Pri Med Physicians is well known for quality walk-in service with minimum waiting and no appointment necessary. In order to provide excellent service and increased convenience, Pri Med Physicians has instituted several new services. Pri Med Physicians now offers one appointment every hour, as well as a call ahead, and call back service for existing patients. Pri Med Physicians has five facilities throughout the tri-county area in order to better serve the healthcare needs of the community. For convenience, we have locations in Montgomery, Prattville and Wetumpka. Pri Med Physicians offers state-of-the-art digital imaging, family medicine, urgent care, sports medicine and industrial health services.

Pri Med Physicians locations are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am until 6:00 p.m.

Pri Med was established in 1982 by Dr. Paul K. Tanaka in partnership with Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama. As of October 1st, 2005 Pri Med is now known as Pri Med Physicians, Inc. (PPI) and is owned and operated by four well known and well respected local physicians:
