Dr. Patricia Campbell is a Montgomery native. She received a BS in Microbiology from Auburn University and an MD from the University of South Alabama. She completed a 3 year residency at the University of Kentucky and has been board certified in Family Practice since 1986. From 1986 through 1991 she was employed by a multispecialty clinic in Lexington, KY managing an urgent care clinic. She spent 1992 finishing an MBA degree at the University of Kentucky and in 1993 moved back to Montgomery. She has worked at Pri Med since April 1993. Particular interests in medicine include the delivery of quality, cost effective primary care services with a special interest in healthy lifestyle, exercise and nutrition. Dr. Campbell is married to Tony Suruda, a retired occupational medicine physician. They share their home with 5 dogs and 2 cats. “All of my children have four legs and a tail.” Interests outside of medicine include assisting her husband with home improvement projects. “I know more than I ever wanted to know about carpentry, drywall and plumbing!” She also enjoys hiking, horseback riding and volunteering at a humane shelter.
