Caroline Folashade, M.D.

Born in London, United Kingdom, of Nigerian parentage, Dr.Caroline Folashade graduated from the University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, in 1986. She worked extensively in Nigeria as a General Physician in Private Practice and as a Medical Officer at the Institute of Child Health at the University College Hospital Ibadan. She worked briefly in the United Kingdom before migrating to the United States. Dr. Folashade completed her residency at Harlem Hospital, New York; she stayed on as Assistant Attending/Instructor of Clinical Medicine-Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons at Harlem Hospital Center, New York. She moved to Montgomery in 2001, and she joined Pri Med Physicians in 2002 as a part-time physician.

Dr. Folashade has two children: a son who is a freshman at Boston University and a daughter who attends The Montgomery Academy. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking and reading.
