Jamaal Upshaw, Physician Assistant

JAMAAL L. UPSHAW, PA-C, MHS: Jamaal is a native of Tuskegee, Alabama. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. He continued his education at the University of South Alabama, where he received his Master of Health Science. Graduating at the top of his class, Jamaal was inducted into Alpha Eta Allied Health Honor Society. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Because of his strong belief in giving back to his community, Jamaal decided to return to the river region to further his philanthropic endeavors. As an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Jamaal has participated in several community outreach initiatives. His interests include music, traveling, participating in church, and spending time with family and friends.
